Fulfilling intimacy doesn’t just happen. It is the result of a series of intentional actions!
Intimacy begins with knowing and loving yourself deeply and understanding your needs and wants. It is self-love, self-acceptance, self-awareness, and self-respect. Once you begin to understand yourself and your journey, it is reflected in your relationships with others.
Intimacy is not something achieved quickly but rather something that continues to mature and develop over time. Although intimacy is something many of us long for, not all of us find or experience it in our relationships.
Intimacy for many women is hindered by different factors. I take a holistic approach to discussing intimacy and utilize my medical training to provide an across-the-board approach to addressing dysfunctional intimacy. When a woman presents with complaints of lack of intimacy, it is usually multifactorial. There are medical and gynecological issues that can prevent sex but there are emotional, cultural, psychological, and spiritual factors that can prevent intimacy.
With intimacy coaching, you will learn how to:
- Understand yourself, your needs, and your wants
- Restore communication with your spouse
- Be intentional about improving intimacy with your spouse
- Create a mindset shift to enjoy intimacy with your spouse
- Understand your female anatomy and key areas to enhance intimacy
- Resolve gynecological and sexual issues that impact intimacy with your spouse
- Disrupt cultural ideas that prevent sexual pleasure
Together we will develop an actionable plan to address the many challenges you may face within yourself, guiding you to rebuild, reconnect, and restore intimacy. It requires your willingness to change, to be self-aware, and to commit to practices that will change your life.
